    hi guys, i’m having a bit of a problem and worst of all it’s difficult to explain. basically whenever I am changing the settings on an effect ( for example increasing or decreasing the opacity on a composition by dragging the % up or down) I don’t see the result until I take my finger off the mouse button. I have seen videos of after effects tutorials in which the opacity moves as the person drags the opacity left or right where as mine stays as it is until I have unclicked the mouse which makes for a lot of guesswork when trying to get the effects right. My system is of a decent spec with a very good processor and plenty of RAM. is there a setting that I need to change in order to see the effects being previewed as I am changing them?

    I hope I explained this clearly enough for someone to assist. cheers
