Is there a way to make ae rgb+alpha by default

November 30, 2009 at 1:10 amDo you mean that you want to make your default output module in the render queue one that encodes and exports movies with an alpha channel?
If that’s your question, then see this section of After Effects Help for information about specifying a default output module. Farther down on that page is information about how to make sure that the alpha channel is part of of the output. Be sure to pick a format and codec that can include an alpha channel.
