  After FX CS3 crash when initializing Media Core

  I had just started Windows with “the last working settings” after a crash. Everything works great on my Windows XP after the crash, but when I try to open Adobe After FX, this message pops up: “After Effects can’t continue: sorry, After Effects has crashed”. This happens when the Media Core is initializing.

  Everything worked fine before the crash.

  Please help A.S.A.P. I have a movie-project on school and don’t have so much time!

  Hello, maybe this will help. I simply googled: XP Codec Pack 2.0.6
  dl’d it and installed it and my initializing: Media Core error was fixed. I hope this helps.
