  After Effects 5.5.1 continues to crash in Mac OS 10.5.5

  Hello! Below are the specs for my comp. I have just installed After Effects 5.5 s well as the update t 5.5.1 on my Imac. I can get get one comp rendered but when I import my next file, it crashes. Almost everytime. I have trashed the preferences which helped for a bit. Then the program continued to crash. Is 5.5 compatible with 10.5.5? Do I need to upgrade to the latest version of After Effects? I have been running After Effects 5.5 on my other imac, similar configuration, Mac OS 10.4 though. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  What version of Quicktime are you running? I think there were issues with versions newer than QT6.51 with AE 5.5.
