How are they playing it back?

ProRes is a good opinion out of fcpx (Master File) but you have to know what device they will use to play back from to determine the most appropriate file format.

this is depending on the beamer itself and the way it will be connected!

will it be connected with DVI, or HDMI – progressive would be good. will it be connected through conponent-input it will expect interlaced material.

note: some beamers also expecting interlaced on the HDMI-input, so you might better look at the user-manual+beamer-settings and do a test prior presentation.

    cheers

In the OP’s case, a projector.

In the music video’s case, a BMW.
