  Photoshop text to blow away like sand — help with tutorial

  Hello! — Anyone Out There — It is very late…and I have been trying to figure this tutorial out…I could really use some help. I am new to after effects…I found this tut…

  The instructions are not for beginners I am guessing…I seem to follow it…but I do not know how to make his “wind” mask…so I copy his…dont know if this is the problem…because all I am seeing are red circles floating and this has nothing to do with my actual project files…I have a Photoshop file of some text with swirls behind it and I want to blow them away like sand…can anyone PLEASE help me? I really appreciate it!
