  FCP X project freezing after it loads?

  I have been working with my FCP X project for 2 weeks now. It is a short film for a client. Today I opened the project like normal and went to play the timeline and it wont even let me skip to areas in the timeline it just gives me the spinning wheel. It sits like that forever until I have to force quit the program. Im set for low quality playback and I am working with mixed media. (RED, DVCPROHD, and CANON H264) The mixed media has all been converted to proxy media so they are the same file types. Im not sure what is causing this, for it has been working fine for weeks. Any help would be appreciated.

  Figured it out. Somehow some extra footage got onto my hard drive causing me to only have a little bit of space left on it. I fixed the issue once I cleaned up the hard drive space.
