  Ram recognition: only 4 out of 8 gigs.

  Hi all!

  I have purchased 8 gigs of ram for my new PC for my afterfx needs.

  My vista 64 boots fine with all 8 gigs of ram but afterfx is only loading with 4 gigs as indicated by the loading screen.

  what do i have to do to make afterfx use all 8?

  I have a quadcore btw, so I’m thinking each core can use 2 gigs each.

  Have you enabled multiprocessing in the preferences?
