• Adobe After Effects

  AE not cooperating

  I just installed the Adobe Creative Suite 3 Production Premium and when I try to open After Effects I get a message saying “You can’t open the application ‘Adobe After Effects CS3’ because it is not supported on this architecture.”

  Does anybody know what this means or how to fix it?

  This is the only app in the suite that is getting this message.

  check the minimum requirements for cs3 (or the cs3 program you are having problems with), make sure you meet those requirements.

  if you do, then i would contact adobe on this one, it’s free to call there customer support. you may have a conflict somewhere, either with extra hardware or a driver or something, and they may be able to get to the bottom of it quickly.
