FCP 10.0.4 Relink File problems
OK, so everybody is saying wonders about the “new” relink ability in FCPX. I’m okay with changing names or moving files and then relinking. But I have files that I deleted from the project and now they appear in the Relink window as missing. I have deleted them form projects, events, and even from the HDD. They now appear in the missing file list with (fcp1) at the end of the name (the clips don’t appear as offline clips (red) in the browser, they simply are not there as they were deleted but the yellow exclamation mark on the Event icon is there al the time). So, not only is FCPX making a mistake (thiking my clips are offline when they were in fact deleted) but it doesn’t allow me to forget or dismiss this error message. Anyone figured out how to solve this? Thanks.
