    Hi guys am duffy
am kinda a bit new to ae but am working on an advert. Tell me I want to create one good ad for tv but when ever I import files from flash they just dont look appetising the look as if I rendered them in 3gp but not really
how can I transfer files without them losing quality and suitable for tv broadcast?
and how can I sustain this good quality when am done at ae for compiling?

    cheers duffy

hi duffy … i haven’t used flash for a while, but from what I remember I think there is an “export movie” option under the file menu … then you need to choose a file type .. go with quicktime Animation. import this file into AE, do your compiling and then render out using the render queue … again choose quicktime with the Animation codec …

make sure you output from flash at tv resolution .. ie 1024×576 for PAL 16×9

    does this help you?

    Use AE CS3

    Imports Flash as vector.

be sure to click continuously rasterize

Workflow throughly covered in Help menu
