Ok this might be hard to explain.

I have a glowing streak effect (like the Ipod Nano effect) that Im going to have start in one point, move across the screen with the camera following, it will circle around a picture then go to another, my question is how do I make it so there is an almost infinite size of the area I need? Right now I only seem to be able to use the 720×480 part of the screen. I drew a picture to explain a bit more.

The screen won’t be where you show it once you add a camera, the screen will be looking where the camera is looking, which as you said it along the path of the streak, out in 3D land (if you’re using Particular to make the streak, like Andrew’s tutorial.

    No?

I think so, Im a little new to this 3d land stuff,so I dont really know.

Oh and do you think my system is underpowered for this kind of video? It will be 5 minutes long and have 2 or 3 particles on the screen sometimes at once.
