I’m trying to take some Panasonic P2 footage with 4 channels of audio and export the each channels into 4 individual wave files for my engineer. Is there any way to do this in FCP X? Or is there another work flow I can use so he will have all 4 channels to work with in Digital Performer?

Place your footage in a project, Export project. In the export preset dropdown, choose Audio Roles Only as Separate Files, if just exporting audio. If exporting everything, you can use the Roles as Separate Files for video and audio.
