  Large rendering crash

  any tips on rendering down large comps ?
  ive got this large project i wanna mix down but it crashes about 75 % threw (after about a hour of rendering) . sometimes it will shutdown my computer .. ive tried jus mixing it down in sections and then joining them up in vegas
  but it isnt smooth enough. its only 25 seconds long . but you would think i was mixing down the titanic .

  thanks for your help im messing around with these settings and the 2 options you suggested hopefully get this comp mixed down .. thx
