It seems you left out some rather vital info. The fellow who posted that workaround wrote:
“The hack does work, but as you see some clips are out of sync. It’s just the audio that’s slightly out on a couple of the clips. Most of the clips lined up perfectly, so you have to use the actual audio from the FCPX render to line up any clips that are slightly out.”
I guess the fact that “It’s just the audio that’s slightly out…” means that it passes his test?

i just dont know so many people are willing to jump thru all these hoops when theres plenty of stuff on the market that does what we want today, and does it well. It was 299, suffer your losses and move on.
I can only imagine telling my audio guy, that everything out of sync, but dont worry, its jsut a little bit. lol. Not too mention, if you have to use Adobe to do it, why nort just do it in Adobe to begin with ?

But it’s magnetic Neil, so it’s got to be better. Right?
After all, isn’t magnetic loss of sync better than non-magnetic loss of sync?
And, who cares about loss of sync anyway, as long as there are no clip collisions when editing why should we care?
