    Hello friends !

sorry, I think this is a little bit off topic, but I am confused and would need help from some pros.

I am searching for a green-screen solution but I couldn’t find anything on the web where I am sure that this is okay. Also I would need some basic lights for using the green-screen ….. and I have no idea which ones.

I would like to use all of the footage in after effects, but I thought I will ask here to get some suggestions…

hmm, please forgive me if this is the absolute wrong place.

If you’re asking about the physical setup of the green screen, the commonly held ideal is to use specialized paint (https://www.eefx.com/eefx2/store/cat_ck_paint.html) but fabric drapes can often be used (try a search online).

An alternative is having your own ‘chroma paint’ mixed: https://www.detonationfilms.com/low_budget_chroma_green_paint.htm

As far as lighting the green screen I wouldn’t be the best person to direct you, but I can tell you that you generally want it brightly lit and always evenly lit. Make sure your subjects aren’t too close to the screen, as this will result in green light spilling onto them and can make keying more difficult. If you are shooting with a floor then be aware that the seam between wall and floor can pose problems in keying (you can create a cyclorama, or curve between the two planes to ease the problem).

I’ve found this video to be most useful (and low cost to boot):
