One company listened
Several months ago I was horrified to discover the deodorant I purchased, the same one I’ve been buying for my adult life, smelled awful. Went back to the store to discover they had indeed changed the odor, mind you, without ANY warning they had done so.
I wrote them (never thinking it would make any difference) asking them to switch back. Another new Coke. They responded with a check to cover the money I wasted with a suggestion I try one of their other brands which had a similar odor with an apology. But no mention of doing anything.
So in my mailbox today was a new stick of the old brand with the original odor. And a “you won” letter. I’m amazed. Sometimes they listen.

I was horrified to discover that the new version of FCP, an app with the same name as the one I’ve been buying for the last eight years, smelled awful.
I’m still waiting by my mailbox for a new version of the old brand with the original odor…
