In Final Cut Pro 7, I can have multiple sequences in one single project. The sequences in one project could have different settings. I could add chapter makers at the beginning of each sequence. Then I would select all of the sequences in one project and burn them onto one single Blu-Ray disc. The chapter markers would become chapters on the Blu-Ray so that each sequence would be a chapter on the Blu-Ray.
In Final Cut Pro X it seems like that a project can have only one single timeline and as of now I have found no way to take multiple timelines and burn them onto a single Blu-Ray disc.
Is copy and paste and paste of individual timelines together into a single one the only solution? The compound project (timeline) will become huge and might also mess up some of the editing if the timelines have different formats.

Wow. Thanks for the heads up. Seems like a pretty big step backwards for Apple/FCP. I’m in the process of evaluation.
