Hello,
I do I get rid of the giant x in the middle of my composition? I thought it would go away after rendering but it doesn’t….what do I do?

That generally means that you are using a plug-in or effect that you haven’t registered. It puts an X through your composition to encourage you to pay for it if you want to use it =)

Oh…but the ones I am using come with the AE 7.0

I wouldn’t be able to tell you what the deal is without more information. What effects are you using? Usually the unregistered effect identifies itself in one of the corners. You can also try disabling one effect at a time until the X disappears. If disabling an effect at a time until you find the perpetrator isn’t working then I may have led you on a wild goose chase and it may be another issue =)

I am using cc sphere and star glow preset, I tried to disable and enable them but no change. I also looked for a tab or something that would lead me to the site where to purchase them but no luck. I believe they’re from Cycore, I even went on their site…..but I couldn’t find anything related to those FX.

The CC effects are installed and licensed with AE Pro. It sounds like you’re talking about the Star Field Glow effect preset which uses CC Star Burst and shouldn’t be a problem, but just in case I thought I should mention that ‘Star Glow’ is a Trapcode effect that will definitely put a red X through your comp if you haven’t licensed it.
I don’t know what else to recommend without seeing what this X looks like, sorry I can’t be more helpful =)
