    Hi all,

I’m new to AE, but old hat at Final cut pro and the adobe suite. I need to do a sing along thing in a video I’m producing. Does anyone know of a good tutorial or a simple way to do a bouncing ball in AE that I can bring into FCP?

I know it’s vague, but I don’t know how to explain it better. Any help would be great!

Dunno about bringing into FCP (PC user here), but the bouncing ball is relatively easy, if time consuming.

Highlight a layer in your comp, preview the audio by hitting the ‘.’ key on your numberpad and then at every time you want the ball to be down, hit the ‘*’ key on the numberpad. It’ll leave a marker on the layer at the point in time.

Now, all you have to do is animate the ball to be down at each one of those markers. I think someone wrote an expression to convert markers to keyframes, but you’d have to search the archives for it.
