  External monitor cables?

  Hey all,

  Ok, so I made this account to ask a question about external monitors and cables. I am building a crane for my canon rebel t3i, and I’m really pumped. The problem is that I need a monitor so I can see what I’m doing when the camera is up in the air. I found an old dvd player with an av input and am trying to figure out how to connect my camera to the dvd player. I have an av cable and I hooked it up, but the other end of the cable won’t connect to the camera, it’s a slightly smaller size than the av output on the rebel. Do any of you know a cable I can buy that would connect to the camera to the dvd player?
