  5D footage transcoded and now I have to render it on the timeline in FCP7

  I shot some 5D footage and trans-coded it through the log and transfer window to prores 422 HQ as usual. When I drop the file on the timeline it wants to render the clip? My sequence settings are setup correctly to prores 422 HQ. I have tried to setup a new timeline with a different codec and size as a test. When I drop the footage on that timeline the window pop ups and I click ok to convert the sequence to match the footage and I still have to render it out???

  Not sure why it is happening….

  system i7 with 8gigs of ram
  FCP 7
  esata hard drive for footage
