  Time Lapse: Under 5 sec. interval in EOS Utility?

  I’m working without an intervalometer and need to do a 1 or 2 sec time lapse with my 5D Mk II. The EOS Utility’s remote shooting has a minimum of 5 second intervals. Does anyone know of any way to work around this issue and get it to under 5 seconds?

  Or is there a third party application that I can download that allows for remote shooting?

  There are bunches.

  Not to put too fine a point on it, but did you try starting with a simple Google search for “5d intervalometer”?

  I did and got a dozen hits – follow the links and you can learn all you need.

  I did find one right after I posted and unfortunately as time went on, the 1 second interval turned into 5 seconds, then 8 seconds…

  I think an intervalometer is the best way to go.
