  5D mkII vs D7000

  How do these two cameras compare? I’m in a catch 22 because my college is all Nikon and wants to get into DSLR video but has to many Nikon lens so he can’t really go down the 5D mk II route (or newer model in the future) because it doesn’t make sense. How does the Nikon D7000 deal with video is it a capable camera for video?
