    Hey Guys,

Looking for a little bit of consensus amongst the DSLR community about weather you should choose the point that you hear the see the clap in waveform or see the clapper go do down in the video to sync to your dual system audio. i have done alot of work with cameras where you don’t get the luxury of an audio track on the camera and have always gone of the principle that you should mark the shot on the first frame there is no motion blur on the clapper. But this seems to always be a couple of frames after I see (and hear using audio scrub) the noise of the clapper. So the clapper still hasn’t touched down when the noise appears. Now logic would tell me that if the audio sounds in sync from the camera I should sync to that rather than the visual, but I just wondered what everyone else did.

    Cheers
