Rendering out 100% color but without alpha
hye guys,
me and my friends was wondering if AE could render out a sequence with full color but no opacity in certain area. ok, i know you guys are confused.let me give an example.
In a sequence, theres a mug, on a floor. i want to render out the whole frame WITH full color, floor + mug, but only contains the alpha of the mug, whilst the background contains no alpha. u do get wut i mean right ? if i were to render normal sequence, even theres a hidden layer which has the matte, it still render out the whole frame as alpha.

Yeah, I kinda picture what you mean – sort of matte objects as in 3D programs. AE can’t do that, since it doesn’t treat a pixels Alpha separate from the color. In AE’s world, a fully transparent pixel is the same as a pixel that doesn’t exist at all.
