  • set end point of layers?

If I change my comp length from 30 seconds to 60 seconds, is there a shortcut key to automatically set all layers in the comp to extend their out point to the new end of of the comp without time stretching any keyframes?

I know I can select all layers and drag their endpoints, but I;d prefer a fast keyboard shortcut for this.

Go to the last frame of your comp (or wherever you want the layers to end). Select all the layers you want to extend, then left Alt + ] to extend / trim. Left Alt + [ will trim / extend from the start of the layer.

Note: This will only extend as far as there is footage in the layer to accomodate i.e. You cant extend a 30 second video clip to 60 seconds if your source video clip actually only goes for 30 seconds. You’ll need to loop in that instance.
