  AE 7 Beginner help…

  Hi this is my first time using adobe AE and its on my friends comp. I’m just wondering for the animation presets there is alarge green X that shows. Is there anyway to get rid of it? I’m just trying to test out the program and want to do my project with one of those synthetics preset animations with the spinning globe. If there is a way to get rid of the green X that would be great. I’m using AE 7.0 by the way.

  Sounds like one of the effects used by the preset is in demo mode. Open the layer in the effects control panel and look at the names of the effects to see if one indicates that is in demo mode or is not registered.
