Okay i just got the program a couple days ago and i was praticing with some of its tools, when i noticed i cant erase things using the erasor tool and etc. I was praticing the sand effect tut and i saw the layer mask was erased on the sides a bit. So i clicked the erasor tool and nothing would happen, it would just drag the white solid layer and thats all? how can i fix this? or am i doing it all wrong? Please respond

    Thanks in advance,
    Benny

Paint, Eraser, and Clone Tools are used in the Layer Window. Double click the layer in the timeline to open its Layer Window. Then grab one of the aforementioned tools to do your thing. Best to check out the manual for more info.
