  Final Cut Pro 7.0.3 and Canon 5D mark ii. Need assistance setting up! Please.

  Hello,
  It’s my first day here.
  I’m about to do some editing on FCP 7 and I’m shooting with a 5D MK II.
  I just added a clip to the timeline, FCP asked the settings to match… & i click yes. And started editing.
  but when cross dissolve transition applied, red color render appears…. why i can’t understand
  I need some help…..plz

  FCP cannot handle native H264 media in real time. You need to transcode all your footage to a format that FCP can work with (such as ProRes 422) before you start editing.
