  Inspiration? (I’d like to see your showreel…!)

  Hi guys,

  I’m doing a low budget dslr (probably canon 60/600d) based instructional DVD next week. Talking head to the camera from start to end (content is king!?). I’ll be using a second dslr as an “artsy” edit option. I want a “corporate feel” to the production – fancy meeting room atmosphere ie. (the production is primarily aimed at a “business” audience).

  Has anyone made something similar that they’re proud of? Vimeo/YouTube links are very welcome!

  Another thing. I still haven’t tested dslr -> m2v. I have no hdmi from dslr to prores rec option, which means files from sd card with not much information in the movie stream. Are m2v’s generally good in this workflow?
