I am a GH2 owner, and I recently bought a set of 4 Canon FD primes. From what I have seen and read, these lenses look like awesome options especially for the GH2 owner.

So basically, if you had a $1200, would you buy 5 or 6 FD lenses or one modern-day Canon EF L-series lens?

    Thanks!

Used Canon FD Lens L series 35-70mm but is heavy and now use IS 28-135mm not L for HD video, I cannot tell difference in performance, also f1.2 L but you do not need that with a 5D mark II as the ISO range is upwards of 2500.
The 28-135 f 5.6 IS is about $750 and is very versatile, used it for 3 years , stunning image quality. Hope the lens work out as the lens adaptor would have to be good.

But, why would you want to go from Panasonic when their set up is Leica and it too is very good, I have a Panasonic GS500 3ccd video, very good SD
