  vertical lines/ sensor problem?

  Hi all.. im new here i usually just read what people say but for the first time i have to ask a question.

  ive had the dslr for about 5-6 months and ive always shot at shutter speed of 50 (im in australia so shooting at 25ps).

  (Shooting VIDEO:)
  today just to create a sharper look( blur wise) i put the shutter speed to 100 (shooting at 25fps & iso 200) and aperture was wide open.
  was shot in a car so wasnt using any lighting other then natrual light, once i brought it home i discovered vertical lines, particular when in dark parts (car seat cover) and when i was moving around his face vertical lines were obvious.

  not sure if the screenshot is enough but when in video and in that image you can see the vertical lines across his face etc.

  you can see the vertical lines more obvious here on the car seat.

  why is this? is there something wrong with my camera or? im confused.

  I noticed this on footage from my t3i. I have no clue what it is. I began to notice this after using a Nikon Nikkor lens with a fotodiox adapter. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
