Editing with two different frame rates in final cut sequence
We filmed a wedding with two Canon 7d’s and accidentally had the cameras on different frame rates! One was filmed on 1920 x 1080 29.97fps, the other 1280 x 720 59.94. How can I edit these on the same sequence in final cut pro? I have tried all different sequence settings and even converted the 59.94 to 29.97 with no luck! The transitions look jumpy and the footage looks jittery or the sides are letter boxed on some clips and not others, it is just problem after problem and I just can’t figure it out! All footage was put through mpeg streamclip to Apple Prores before importing into final cut.
