    Hi all.
So I purchased the Elgato Turbo.264 HD encoder a while back and I have been using it frequently. Despite the crushing of some blacks, its a great program. But recently after updating to version 1.1.3 the program doesn’t seem to work…at all. I’ve tried a variety of compression settings and my most standard is nothing extra strenuous. Im crushing footage from a Canon 5DMKII to 1280×720 with a data rate of 5000. If you are familiar with vimeo’s upload guidelines for HD, those are the exact settings I am using.

When I start the compression within seconds El Gato stretches out to 001fps and the time goes sky high. I don’t understand, these are the exact same compressions I have been doing for over a month.

Im on a Mac G5 with Dual 2.8Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processors and 6 GB of 800MhZ DDR2 ram, so Its not my system..

Anybody encounter this before? Thanks in advance for any help.
