I’m doing a simple green screen key with keylight, and I’m having problems with the female talent’s hair. It seems to be messing up along the loose strands that have gaps of space in between. Is it a simple tweaking of the softness that I need? Or do I have to do something else?

Well, right now the easiest option looks to be to re-shoot the footage and fixing the talent’s hair in a way that doesn’t affect the key, or if you can’t do that, try making a garbage matte etc. There are also plugins for keying too, like Red Giant’s, which might make the key easier and better.
