Canon 7D cropping on monitor
Hi,
I love this camera, but the main caveat I’m experiencing is a slight crop on an LCD monitor that’s even zoomed out to see the outer edges that show on the camera itself. I’m not talking about the CMOS crop, but there seems to be an 2 or 3 percent additional image when I review the footage on my computer.
Is this fixable?

Best check with Canon Service, your 7D would be under warranty. We run the 5D with fullframe sensor, may be the reason ?No problems this end except, for H.264 mov editing at Full HD 1920 x 1080 in Premiere Pro, however should be fixed with release of CS5 ?

Yes, CS5 is editing native footage from the 5D just fine.

This is odd as the 7D is one of the few dslr cameras to have a 100% view in the viewfinder.
