  Named query

  Dear all,

  Why is that an edited ‘Named Query’ is not being updated in other clients? What does it depend on?

  From what we’ve seen recently, a Named Query is only for your station. (Saved into your local settings, I assume.)

  A “Shared Smart Folder” under Tree>Server>Smart Folders is where you’d save a “search”.

  I’d love an update on this from Squarebox as it stymied us recently.

  Dougal, you guys got any input on this one? I thought I remembered shared Named Queries being a feature in older versions, but my brain may be foggy.

  It strikes me that at some point we did share these queries, since all the stations have these queries listed with the same name and settings.

  BUT now, they wouldn’t get updated with my new editing settings of these queries and only are available with the new settings in my station.

  I guess the situation is, either I set the queries at some point one station by one and I can’t remember doing it… or this feature has changed lately.
