    Hello there!
I am starting to learn AE and particles in general and I was doing some exercises with trapcode particular. I created a leaf as custom particle and made it grow on a branch, but some particles have the opacity low after they finished growing even though all the opacity settings are on 100%. Do you guys know why? I am using Sprite as a particle type. Here is the link for the picture:

Are you using a Layer as the Emitter? If you hit a semi-transparent pixel, you’ll get semi-transparent particles. If so, you can fix that by using curves adjustment on the alpha channel of the layer (precomp it so it reads the curves adjustment).

Makes sense!yeah, I am using the branch layer as emitter, which layer should I do the adjustment on? The particle or emitter layer?

do it on the layer you are using as your emitter, in this case the branch.
