  CAT DV, PP, and C100

  I just upgraded to v10 enterprise and just switched from FCP to PP. I have a few questions.

  1) I like the fact that I can use un-transcoded files in PP. CAT DV can import C100 card media with audio and so can PP. The problem I have is when I export a FCP7 XML out of CAT DV into PP, I loose the C100 audio. It’s not carrying through.
  If there an issue with raw C100 footage going to PP?

  2) Is it possible to map the clip title in CAT DV to the clip name in PP? The best I can do is map to a note field in PP. It’s not awful but not ideal either.

  The export to CC function is broken. I can only export a FCP 7 XML. Maybe this a symptom of one of the other issues?

  This is running on an Xserve with 10.6.8 server. Footage is on Active SAN connecting with fiber.

  Can you send some screen shots of any errors you are seeing and the logs from the CatDV client to support@sqaurebox.com and we will get a fomal support ticket going?
