Merging Catalogs
Anybody know of a way to merge two catalogs together?

Server or standalone?
In Server, just select all the assets and drag them to the catalog in the Tree under Server>Catalogs. The system will ask you if you want to copy or move. Select “move” and the clips will move into the other catalog.
In standalone… um… drag the clips from one catalog to the other?
If you’re talking about combining metadata, you’re on your own. 😉

You can easily copy and paste or drag and drop clips from one catalog to another to organise them as you require.

I now feel silly I couldn’t do that. I was trying to drag one catalog on top of another catalog, and that wasn’t working. I’ll blame that one on lack of sleep. Thanks for the quick responses!
