  How to mark unused footage

  Hi,

  I’m trying to work out how I could make a list/create a new catalogue from a set of clips with only the footage I HAVEN’T used in a sequence.

  Idea is that after I finish a film I would like to mark all ‘not-used’ footage to make it available for stock footage library use.

  Tricky bit is that within a clip several sections could be used and also unused. I know that I can mark all clips used in a sequence and therefor can get the reverse selection being the unused whole clips. BUT often there are good bits in a clip that is partly used. So marking the whole clip would make me loose these bits.

  Any idea how this could be done with CatDV?

  Any help is much appreciated
