  ‘Scan for new files’ missing?

  I had CatDV Standard 9.0.1 running on SL, I’ve just installed Lion 10.7.2 and updated CatDV to 9.0.2. I use it to index a large collection of clips / stills for use in FCP projects, I drop clips I want to retain / index on a dedicated drive. I used to be able to ‘Scan for new files’ from the ‘File’ menu – this seems to be missing in 9.0.2 – any ideas how to get CatDV to scan for new files? What am I missing here?

  You need to enabled Advanced Menus on the General tab of Preferences to see less commonly used commands.

  Just curious, you have to use ‘scan for new files’ one catalogue by one, isn’t it? The best practice would be to import from just a single directory, but then files would not been archived properly at the drives.
