  Seems to be a Glitch in Playback

  I have attached a link to a video showing my specific issue. It seems to be glitching for me on playback. I have had this happen multiple times over the past few days. It happens when I am connected to the full media and also it seems to have followed over to the preview files that were built as well.

  Any feedback would be great. Not sure if this is some sort of preference issue that just needs to be changed or what.

  I’m gonna give you the “support” questions that they’re gonna ask.

  Does it do this in quicktime player?

  If so, it’s a QT thing (obvious one)

  If not, then what OS are you on, what version of CatDV etc?

  Sorry if these seem simple, but the more info you give, the better the factory guys can help ya.

  I’ve never seen that specifically, but I had a case recently where video in CatDV and QT player, flashed red whenever a camera flash went off in the frame. Turns out it was a codec thing and we had to recapture it.

  Red flashes and diagonal stripes on playback seem to be an NDVIDIA driver problem introduced in Mac OS X 10.6.6. This will hopefully be fixed in the next OS update!
