I’m trying to export an animation that I made frame by frame in an 1920 x 1440 resolution however when doing so DaVinci does not give me an option for 4:3 standard definition so it comes out very ugly and stretched, any other pre set 4:3 resolution leaves the final product as an image surrounded by a large black box. Any fix?

720 x 576 is 4:3SD PAL ans is an export option. You are trying to make a 4:3 HD resolution which is non standard.

In some cases, use a different app for final export.
I’ve had to work in an un-uniformed scale format for days before going back to its target format.
Most of the time I use After Effects for that.
I do a lot of weird aspect ratio projects.
