HI, I just got a monitor that can be turned into 709 tuned color space with a hardware setting. I am wondering if it is still necessary to manually set the output gammut and colorspace into rec709 in Davinci?

Thanks for your posts and insight.

if you are viewing in rec709, then resolve should be set to rec709.

Resolve usually defaults to rec 709 for its color management settings, so you shouldn’t have to go in a manually change anything.

I think there is an assumption that you are working in REC709, until you tell it otherwise.
