  Resizing Mini DV footage in resolve

  I primarily work with mini dv cameras and when ever import the footage into the time line i get these two black bars at the top and bottom when i resize the video. is there a way to get around this? any help is greatly appreciated!

  Check the clip attributes. Resolve probably hasn’t correctly guessed the aspect ratio.

  DV is such an awful old codec with interlacing and other issues. Aspect is one of them. You might have to manually tweak the aspect. Once you do one you can copy and paste those via paste attributes to multiple clips
