    Hello!

I have very little (or no) experience with Davinci Resolve and have a difficult situation..

Our grader worked on a project, that was made in the free version, and now we bought the 12.5 version.
Our grader left back to US.

A few hours before I had now problem opening her project, but then it crashed, and when I wanted to reopen the project, I couldn’t.

The only thing I see in the project manager are bins, with the same name as the project, but not the project itself.

We do have a back-up on the computer, a .drp file.

I work on mac os sierra 10.12.3 (16D32)

Desperately looking for help ☺ ☺

    Thanks and all the best

    Ellen

[ellen pollard] “e do have a back-up on the computer, a .drp file.”

I would try importing that drp… it will not open automatically. You have to navigate to it in the Resolve project browser and explicitly open it.

Right-click in the Project Menu to Import the DRP, bring it in, and once it’s done then open this project. It should “in theory” work.

Is it not possible to contact the original colorist for advice?
