linux resolve hardware tipps
dear all!
i am thinking about switching from osx to linux. as it is possible right now without the advanced panel, i got myself a mini panel to have panel support in linux (and plug-off my beloved cooper eclipse).
for security reasons i want to leave my main-workstation alone and build a new linux machine. i would love to go the rackmount-route. and i want to have at least 2 working titanxp cards in there. at the moment in osx only one is working which drives me nuts…
do i really need to have the supermicro 7048GR-TR motherboard as it is mentioned in the linux-davinci-setup-guide? what do you linux-resolve-users use? is there any other motherboard recommended for cent-os? will i am be able to have thunderbolt?
i am also thinking aloud about 10 gigabit ethernet network-storage solutions, any clues on that?
if someone know some answer, please shade some light into my linux-hardware-darkness…
thanks in advance!!!! any tipps welcome!
