  This GIF effect ?

  Hey Guys,
  It feels great to be in here and this is first time am making a post…

  I’ve came through this animation while i was dribbling. I am wondering how he would have got this effect… I’m having some ideas popping up but couldn’t render the final output perfectly.

  1. Particle system
  2. Null Object
  3. May be Write on
  4. Parenting the Particle system position to null object position

  But how he would got this delayed line effect ? Enlighten me if possible.

  I’d assume the particle trails were done in Particular.

  For the second part I would just duplicate the path, and use a gradient stroke as a luma matte for the falloff.

  I have no idea how to do either of those things. C4D I’m sure would just take some learning, but as far as I know, there is no such thing as a gradient stroke in After Effects. You could use the echo effect.
